Welcome to the services provided by "DashcamPlayer"! We value the privacy of our users, understand the importance of personal information to you and are solemnly committed to protecting the security of users' personal information and privacy. In order to enable you to better use this App and access services such as dashcam devices reliably and stably, we need to obtain storage files of mobile phones, access WiFi networks and other permissions, and collect your device information, operation logs and other information.
When you use our products or services, we may need to collect and use your personal information as follows:
1. WiFi Connection Information (SSID and BSSID)
(1) Purpose of processing: To determine whether your mobile phone is connected to the dashcam hotspot, display the name of the currently connected WiFi network, identify the connected dashcam, and support device connection, live preview, and communication with the dashcam.
(2) Method and trigger: After you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy, when you actively enter a dashcam connection, live preview, or other feature that requires a dashcam connection, the App automatically reads the SSID (WiFi network name) and BSSID (MAC address of the WiFi access point) of the currently connected network through WiFi interfaces provided by Android or iOS.
(3) Scope of collection and use: We process only the SSID and BSSID of the network to which your device is currently connected. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling unrelated to dashcam connectivity.
(4) Storage and transmission: The SSID is used only to determine and display the current connection. The BSSID, or a device connection identifier generated by combining the BSSID with the dashcam UUID, is stored in the App's local database and securely transmitted to our server as part of a device connection record for device identification, connection records, compatibility analysis, and troubleshooting connection failures. We retain this information only for the shortest period necessary to fulfill these purposes and delete or anonymize it when the retention period expires.
(5) Authorization and effect of refusal: We process this information only after you agree to this Privacy Policy and use the relevant feature. You may refuse the relevant permission. If you refuse, the App will not read this WiFi connection information, but dashcam connection, device identification, live preview, and other features that rely on WiFi connectivity may not function properly. Features that do not rely on this information will not be affected.
2. Mobile Device and Application Information
(1) Purpose of processing: To create device connection records, identify abnormal connections, analyze device and operating system compatibility, and maintain the stable operation of the App and dashcam connectivity.
(2) Method and trigger: After you agree to this Privacy Policy and successfully connect to a dashcam, the App automatically obtains the relevant information through system APIs.
(3) Scope of collection and use: Android ID, mobile phone brand and model, operating system version, application name, and application version. We do not use the Android ID to identify your real-world identity or for advertising.
(4) Storage and transmission: This information is stored in the App's local database and securely transmitted to our server as part of a device connection record solely for connection records, compatibility analysis, troubleshooting, and service improvement. We retain it only for the shortest period necessary to fulfill these purposes and delete or anonymize it when the retention period expires.
(5) Authorization and effect of refusal: We collect this information only after you agree to this Privacy Policy and use the dashcam connection feature. If you do not agree to this processing, we will not collect the information, but device identification, connection records, or troubleshooting features may not function properly.
3. Dashcam Device Information
(1) Purpose of processing: To identify the connected dashcam, create device connection records, support different device and firmware versions, and troubleshoot device connection failures.
(2) Method and trigger: After you agree to this Privacy Policy and successfully connect to a dashcam, the App automatically obtains the relevant information through communication with the dashcam.
(3) Scope of collection and use: Dashcam solution identifier, customer model, device model, firmware version, and device UUID. Where necessary, we combine the BSSID with the device UUID to generate a device connection identifier that distinguishes different dashcams. This identifier is not used to identify your real-world identity.
(4) Storage and transmission: This information is stored in the App's local database and securely transmitted to our server solely for the purposes described above. We retain it only for the shortest period necessary to fulfill these purposes and delete or anonymize it when the retention period expires.
(5) Authorization and effect of refusal: If you do not agree to this processing, the App will not collect the information, but device identification, compatibility analysis, or troubleshooting features may not function properly.
4. Location Information
(1) Purpose of processing: Used to display driving routes on maps, record driving locations, and enable GPS positioning and track playback functions.
(2) Method of processing: The App obtains location information through GPS, cell towers, WiFi positioning, etc., for map display and track recording.
(3) Scope of collection and use: Only the geographic location information (including GNSS information, IP address, WLAN hotspots, cell tower information, etc.) collected while you are using the driving recording function is collected.
(4) User authorization method: We request location permission through a system prompt only when you use map, positioning, or route-related features, and process location information only after obtaining your authorization.
5. Images
(1) Purpose of processing: Used to download and save image files from the dashcam device to your phone's photo album, and to display image files from the device.
(2) Method of processing: The App retrieves image files from the device via WiFi and saves them to your phone's photo album upon your active selection and download.
(3) Scope of collection and use: Only image files that you actively choose to download from the dashcam device are collected.
(4) User authorization method: You will be prompted with a system pop-up to grant storage access permission when you download images for the first time.
6. Audio and Video
(1) Purpose of processing: Used to download and save video files (including audio) from the dashcam device to your phone's photo album, and to play video files from the device.
(2) Method of processing: The App retrieves audio/video files from the device via WiFi and saves them to your phone's photo album upon your active selection and download.
(3) Scope of collection and use: Only video files that you actively choose to download from the dashcam device are collected.
(4) User authorization method: You will be prompted with a system pop-up to grant storage access permission when you download videos for the first time.
We process your personal information for the purposes, by the methods, and within the scope described in this Privacy Policy only after you have read and agreed to it. You may withdraw relevant permissions through your system settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out on the basis of your consent before the withdrawal.

iOS System
1. Location permission: Some iOS versions require location permission before an App can read the SSID and BSSID of the currently connected WiFi network. For dashcam connection, this permission is used only to obtain current WiFi connection information. When you use map, positioning, or route features, location information is processed as described for those features.
2. Access to photos: When the App downloads video or photo files from the dashcam device and needs to store the files to the phone album, photo access permission is required.
3. Use local network permissions: The App needs to use the local network permissions of the mobile phone when connecting the dashcam device.
4. Use wireless data rights: The App needs to use the wireless LAN rights of the mobile phone when connecting the dashcam device.
Android System
1. Location permission: Some Android versions require location permission before an App can read the SSID and BSSID of the currently connected WiFi network. For dashcam connection, this permission is used only to obtain current WiFi connection information. When you use map, positioning, or route features, location information is processed as described for those features.
2. File storage permission: When the App downloads video or photo files from the dashcam device and needs to store files to the mobile phone album, storage permission is required.
3. Use local network permissions: The App needs to use the local network permissions of the mobile phone when connecting the dashcam device.
4. Use wireless data rights: The App needs to use the wireless LAN rights of the mobile phone when connecting the dashcam device.
